The unfortunate side of this, now that I own my business, my wife feels like she HAS to be involved and she absolutely refuses to budge about making lone mountain pay for it. For the moment, I'm enjoying time at home.

Its great your wife wants to be involved, but involve her in things that make you money or keep you organized. Like booking loads, keeping quick books, dealing with regulations and paperwork. I wouldn’t let her run your business for you though. Somebody has to be the boss end of the day. Right now it sounds like she doesn’t trust your instincts which is a problem and will be a problem down the road.

I just want to post my experience, take it as you may.
I had heard nothing but great reviews from people I spoke to in person.
The looking and buying process from Ft Worth was pretty painless. Credit approval was relatively easy, too. Just be prepared to have a business plan ready, they will ask you about it. The problems arose from trying to get them to honor their 48 hour right to inspection period. I'm getting screwed by some technicalities.I picked the truck up from Fort Worth, I chose a Prostar with a Cummins and tripac and Navistar extended warranty. Ran great, looked at everything I was able to look at, everything looked great, no rattles on the interior, even. But, I live 120 miles from ft worth, driving it home, 30 miles from home, i had a fuel injector fail. I was able to limp it to an international dealer in Temple, close to my house. The plan was to make it there anyway, so I could do a DOT and Dyno, which lone mountain states I need for them to do any repairs under their 48 hour inspection guarantee. I really didn't expect anything to fail so early. Needless to say, I was getting random Stop engine warnings, there was no way I could make it back to ft worth. Now I'm getting the cold shoulder from Lone Mountain, last thing I heard from them, they claimed I MUST return the truck to a lone star location to repair under the 48 hour inspection policy, and that they were getting in touch with Navistar, who would then get in touch with the International facility in Temple to verify the warranty. It would cost as much to tow it back to ft worth to get a free repair than it would be to just have the international dealer do it. I guess I should have gotten a Dyno and DOT before I left Fort Worth, but, who would have guessed? Now, Neither I or the service advisors can get a hold of anybody. It's past my 48 hour inspection window. Im just to trying to start making money. I think I'm on my own. Bet if I don't make that next payment, tho, they'll be all over my ###...
Anyway, that's where I'm at today. It's been 5 days since I picked up the truck. I'm just trying to give the facts and events, as I remember them happening, and allowing you to form your own opinion.

I’ve posted on here a few years ago about this company! Most I’ve met in person had problems with their trucks, I, as a long wit( a few I’ve met that got trucks from them will never do that again!
