And in addition to SR1, I am wondering about Lepton1. We miss him.

 

Lepton was doing badly last few times heard from him. I’m afraid the worst.

 

I got my safety lesson yesterday in KY scale. Level 1 inspection. Lights good, brakes good, tires good. Oh crap two load locks on the cab rear tied together with bungee to prevent rattling.
OOS! Unsecured or not properly secured equipment - 2 points. Bungee removed, paperwork signed free to go.
I asked LEO why he did it, the load locks will not fall even if bungee removed.
He just rises his shoulders and walked away.

 

3 other drivers got OOS while I was sitting there, but they were told to go to Loves back S and get their repairs done. One guy even unplugged his ELD, got caught and was let go.

Oh but my tiny little cut in the return line, nope. Sit here and get it fixed. Screw you.

 

No bungie's ever. See milk crates on catwalks with loose items tossed in and wonder how long before the rubber rots and the box ends up on the driveshaft.

 

Oh yea, I have 6 4x4 pieces of dunnage under my trailer on the crossmembers. I have bungees around each end and I was going to put a 1" strap around the center hooked to the trailer to secure them. Not a word was said about those because they were way too focused on "Zomg brakes!"

I hope all of them get coronavirus and end up quaratined like rats.

Appointment at 7. Got me to door at 9. Started harassing them at 12. Finally got out at 3.
Enough time to ruin pickup 2 hours away by 4.
I should have started pushing at 1am when they opened.

Batesville North has one coming NW to SE-East. That one is a mountain town with a valley in between. I-55 shortly and probably UP railyards soon.
