I wonder if that Freightliner cab is the same as the Coronado's we tried a few years ago. They rattled and squeaked from day one, but I could tolerate that. The thing that made me crazy was not being able to see the speedometer or tachometer while driving. They were tucked behind the steering wheel in a way I couldn't see them.

I hope they keep the WS interior, use the FL cab if that's what they want.

None of it really matters to me. The 2018 4900ex will be the last truck I drive. I've been offered a new 4900ex glider twice since I've gotten mine, and I won't give mine up for anything.

Just what my dealer salesman told me........he said it is the aluminum Coronado 122SD cab but will be "beefed up" more with more bracing, etc.

We had a 122SD. I didn't mind it. Was a good built truck. Biggest thing I hate about that cab is the paper thin doors. They almost feel like you are going to bend them by closing them. And the door handles failed all the time.

    rbrtwbstr Thanks this.
