I-80 backup this morning. Trucks parked on the shoulder for roughly 7 miles... slow roll with their four ways and lots of crews unscrewing the cluster.

Westbound? Mostly empty besides a few plows, tourists, and a dumb guy pulling a QuickDraw :D

sitting in Caldwell at the counter waiting on my chili burger. Y’all be good

I'm not sure what's up yet, but my a/c took a sheet yesterday too.. Was working ok, but now the compressor will not kick on. If it's low on freon is that a possibility as to why it will not cycle on..? Like a compressor safety or something..?

Bobtailed to a self spray car wash to knock down some of the crud. Going to grab some aluminum polish that can be used by hand to give my 1st attempt at cleaning up these tanks & wheels..

Any recommendations on a decent polish that can be used with old fashioned elbow grease..

My ac the 4 year old compressor is leaking at the shaft seal. You can see the remnants where it leaked out. There are a few reasons the compressor won’t kick on and low Freon is one of them.

The only way I will polish now is with a 6000 RPM grinder and a buff. I started off with and still have a couple harbor freight buffers. The polishing wheels and rouge is cheap. I think I was only into my first polishing job less than $70 and still using some of the stuff 3 years later. For hand polishing the corners I still like to use the mother’s mag polish. 4B5C7039-4DA3-4B11-B176-FDDAAB88B7C4.jpeg 77099B64-7654-4A04-A90A-591DB54A8125.jpeg 49CE8B15-8D96-470F-ABF5-6CD0C913E4EB.jpeg 938BBD8A-DD73-42D6-B275-869D5A5D5B57.jpeg

Careful it turns into an obsession.

I know I could do it for you, but what I’m not sure of is how regular members can do it themselves.
