What we don't understand is near real time information on National Capacity for say Lysol Wipes. I might have to reopen a couple of very quiet accounts with those deep in industry and sit like a birdie to listen to their posts a while. Might learn something about it.
What we are not getting here in Trucking is drivers saying I hauled a load of TP to Cosco and there were 50 trucks with the same load going there. So there is no information anywhere.

Ya know... in the war powers held by President and so forth, they can sign a form deeming those 17700 bottles vital to the Nation. And they come clean all 17700 bottles out.
MWAH! Thank you SIR! you are doing a service to the Nation.
HA... thats what you get for not thinking things through. -
See I think this is wrong, it is the free market and if they have people not bright enough to buy it as an every day item, well that's their people. I am all got a free market and we already deal with a commodity that we get jammed every time we buy it and no one care - Fuel.
Yesterday the station by my house was selling gas for $1.79 a gallon in the morning, then when I passed it on the way home it was $2.19 a gallon. The neighbor filled up at $2.19 and asked why the price jump, the owner said because he could.
What is wrong is government wanting to stop this because of stupid people. my state wants to put a law in place to stop people selling things over 10% of the marked sale price.
It may seem wrong but a free market is the best ... and we work in it by the way.x1Heavy, tscottme, FoolsErrand and 1 other person Thank this. -
So was the Spanish flu

I think it wrong for them to do that because people are relying on the idea, they can go buy a bottle if they want one. When the brothers come in and buy it all just so they can force a artificial supply and demand, just so they can profit. I don't like that. If they bought a truck load of the stuff them self and had it just sitting in their garage to sell on Amazon. Go for it sell it, but when they make the problem by going out and buying it all at a regular price just to sell back at a crazy price that's not fair. They could not even buy a truck load because they are not a distributor. They can play in the free marked if they want now or before by stocking up if they want do it in normal times. We all know they won't be out buying hand sanitizer after all this because they want to play in the free marketG13Tomcat Thanks this.
