But schools and some universities campuses have been closed and I hear about some soccer games that will not be open to the public...

American Airlines canceled flights from the USA to Guarulhos in São Paulo...
I am planning on going to the USA before the end of this month... going to GA and then TN.... but will have to come back to Brasil very soon because I haven't accomplished 80% of what I had to do here yet.... and I must do what I had to do here... and that is going to take much longer than I had imagined before... So... shall see...

No they are not going crazy. Californias Governor just issued a confiscation order for any suitable property, including private property to house isolated sick people.

Trump is considering curbs on our freedom to travel. The military entirely has been confined to base only, travel is banned even for temp or perm duty stations. Pentagon is on NMCC and Skeleton war footing all others sent home.

There is a stack of Vested War Powers in Executive Orders not used since WW2 and Trump just found that stack, he is shuffling through them now. If he gets off on signing those to be very blunt then we as Americans will just have to go heigh ho off to jail... or something. I don't know.

I am running off WW1 stories of Spanish Flu in family and running off what I know of Rationing in WW2. For example everyone was issued a coupon book. Ordinary people were given 48 points to friday midnight to use for anything. Everything such as a ordinary cambells can of soup had say 6 points assigned. So that leaves you with 42 points. If you needed 6 of them that week... You have a problem.

Or better yet ABC cars. A cars I think were limited to 10 gallons gas a month. And they carried decals on them according to their value to the USA War Effort. 10 gallons. I can do it. I would accumulate 10 a month myself. But I only needed 8 gallons the last 4 months on a fill last week.

Arkansas is now up to 12+ confirmed infected, one in ICU rest stuck at home for two weeks. They are monitoring about 30 give or take (Investigating) and are watching about 230 travelers already. Our library system in Little Rock has closed for a while as did many places.

Nothing but a thought that things may get tough and for what? I refuse to worry about it anymore to be honest. After a certain point its better to enjoy life and continue on.

I miss USA... even though there are much less cases of this virus here in Brasil than in the USA, I want to go to USA and wish I could stay there and return to my "normal" life, work and make money and drive on the road... But as long as I am healthy and there are flights between the USA and Brasil and their borders are open, I must return here to continue dealing with this "saga"... :angry2:

I don't agree that everybody is gonna die from this virus... some people are making it sound like it's the "end of the world"... o_O Yeah.. some people will die from this.... those who already have some kind of disease, or immune system weakness... debilitated elderly folks and such but those who are in good health will get sick for a while and then will get better again... The media doesn't tell how many cases of people who survived this thing... they only tell how many cases of infected people... :angry3:

Exactly... the difference between this thing and the flu is that this one is very contagious and spreads much kickier and the virus is much stronger than a regular flu virus... therefore it can kill those with weak immune systems and other health problems quickly...

I keep just thinking about so many viruses and diseases man can create in a lab and use it for population control or some other purposes...
