Have a 2013 MF 11. Having problems locating the power source for the intake air heater fuel solenoid. Had code 5548-5, the solenoid is good. There is no power to the solenoid or the relay supplying it.Relay is new. It's wire K14A (8g) and i can/t find it in the fuse panel. Tracing it is a pain as it goes into a large wiring harness.along the engine block that takes off everywhere. Could it get power from the body controller? A wiring diagram I have shows battery power supply with a fuse/breaker symbol but no location and no body controller. Hope this is a simple find! Thanks for any help.

I think that is battery supply from the mega fuse connection at the firewall and is protected by a fuse link of 12 gauge wire. So you can repower that with another feed and wire in a new 12 gauge fuse link section of wire.

    joejffrs Thanks this.

Thanks Headyd. Is the new feed hot all the time, like directly from the battery?

Yes, it is battery power likely from the mega fuse block area at the fire wall. What model truck? They are mostly the same in general.

    joejffrs Thanks this.

Thanks-I found a source on the firewall-just making sure it’s hot all the time.
