Has anyone run up on a truck stop or restaurant that is closed because or the virus?

Not yet but that time may come. In fact you probably can count on that happening if it sweeps a given area quite a bit. PARTICULARLY if it becomes part of a declared and military assisted containment zone.

However fuel will still continue I would imagine. Its just too important to the Nation not to provide fuel.

I was debating a trip to Little Rock Petro one more time for the year to have a meal there before the close that joint down. However we will see.

The state had one presumptive two days ago, 6 as of last night and 9 as of earlier today. WIth about 132 being observed at home. They are lagging behind the actual infections by quite a bit with about 6 counties worth of schools and universites closing up for weeks.

Stores are stripped. We visited three today and all of them are pretty much bare of anything that people crave in a panic.

Ohio governor today ordered all restaurants and bars to close at 9pm tonight. He will allow them to still do carryout or delivery though.

Ta/petro will not have a buffet starting tomorrow. Made to order will be available depending on any local restrictions.

I imagine the carryout exemption will allow fast food to operate.

Illinois is doing similar. 2 weeks ban on sit down dinning. Restaurants can only offer takeout.

I agree, and with our governor already banning gatherings with over 100 people last week, the thing that I question is how can they just go and shut down private businesses like that. If they want to ban the gathering of people, I could agree with lowering the businesses certificate of occupancies to 100 people, but to pretty much completely shut them down, you might as well just start bankruptcy proceedings for thousands of people especially servers that rely on tips.
