    Listen I go over those checks every week. I use to do payrolls and you don't cheat me out of a cent. LOL Actually they're doing real well by us. Of course we're on this dedicated fleet now and our terminal and fleet manager is very protective of his drivers. I like him.

    Sorry.... I did not mean to insult anyone..... I've only been a driver for 3 years so I might be considered somewhat of noob myself......

    However, it's a dirty nasty job, it's the worst job I ever had. I knew that going in, but I needed to make a few bucks in my last 3-4 years of my working career.

    Now, were there some enjoyable experiences?? Sure, but they were far outweighed by the ugly ones (like waking up in the hammer lane at 2:00 AM; when I'd been driving in the other lane last time I checked). This due to being "bullied" by some dispatcher into taking a load when I'd not been fully rested.

    Now, I would LOVE to go back maybe 10 days per month and knowing WELL what I was getting into, and also knowing that if anyone gave me an ounce of grief I'd just ask'em which terminal they'd like me to return the truck to.

    The "pup" remark was just to illustrate how some guys just can't wait to get behind the wheel. NO offense intended.
