And if the boss tells you to exceed the speed limit by 10 mph because "that load just has to get there" And the Distribution center you got to after putting the general motoring public in danger says, "That is the 10th load of dog food we have gotten, we don't need it. Park until we call you"
Unless I have a beating heart in my trailer, and the transplant patient will die if I don't get there, everything else can wait. I don't care what it is. And the FMCSA regulations clearly back up any driver who is forced to operate unsafely. Just document it and take names.

Well, put that question to "The Hammer" and the dozens of trucking companies who have paid out $Millions of dollars of wrongful death compensation to individuals who have run under an illegally parked truck.
The operative word here is ILLEGAL.

It's not illegal everywhere and it shouldn't be illegal anywhere if there's enough room on the shoulder. I'm not talking about being illegally parked. Thanks though...

See these companies are smarter than they. Of course they're not gonna say "terminated because we couldn't force him to drive illegal" they'll come up with some sort of bs, and legally they dont need to give or have any reason at all to let me go anyway...

One post you say one thing, next you contradict yourself. Which is it?

Show me any part of any interstate(controlled access) highway where it is legal to "park" or "stand". Stopping for emergencies is the only reason that is allowed, and only then with sufficient reason and warning(triangles etc).
There are many reasons for the design and the prohibitions, if you would like to become familiar with what they are and why, this article will explain them.

Say it with me: revenue generators.

Their enforcement on trucks parking on the shoulder doesnt matter. Were still becoming a 3rd world country, anyways. All theyre doing is drumming up revenue for the corrupt govt leaders.

Don't break the law and they won't write you a ticket. Pretty simple really.

If it was simply revenue generation there would be a line of cars and trucks pulled over after every construction zone.

If you would learn to trip plan, you wouldn't have to break the law to earn money. You know, like millions of truckers do every day.
