If you mean my sandbar....come visit after this all passes. We're discouraging tourists at the moment as I'm sure most tourism spots are.

Corolla has wild horses, as does Ocracoke. Not sure what's going on with Ocracokes horses though since the island got battered during the last hurricane. Lots of damage to the town an beaches.
    Corolla horses are below

Fun tidbit: The town of Nags Head down here on my sandbar has a story told of it's history, that the locals back then would walk horses on the tops of Jockey Ridge with lanterns attached, in order to trick ships into wrecking/beaching themselves. Once they did they got robbed licketysplit.

My area has quite a bit more history then most would think. Virginia Dare, the lost colony of Roanoke Island, fishing, hunting, etc.

Need info on the area, just shoot me a PM.

    Rest of you...be safe!

Sirscrapntruckalot - For Halloween I'm dressing up as a Corona Extra bottle.

    I appreciate the thoughts.

We have a town on the Bay, I think St Mary's Someone found out that the British Fleet was going to come up there in force and smash the town with ship artillery in massed power.

They took every single lantern and light source moved all of them into a patch of woods at evening and lit them in orderly rows to imitate a town sleeping.

Well, they came up. Did a great deal of shooting into those woods and went away after a while.

    thats a tidbit there.

Don’t you have to add something to it to discourage drinking it?

After all God forbid somebody make his own whiskey.

Hell I'll punch his shoulder and roar at him for dinner tab at the bottom of Donner. I'll cover the drinks he would need to get it out of his system then. HA....

Mental Health served right, trucker style. Remember my Slap and Bing school of Education. Club the patient once to reset and have patient marry a spouse who will bing same upside the head with a proper frying pan to keep same in line as ongoing treatment.

    Funny you say that.

Ive read some stories about Russians in USSR Days creating a form of alcohol using whatever was around their armored vehicles. Not a whit was cared for laws in those days as long they had something to throw down.
