    Mission Texas.

Bless me the food. Onmg the effing FOOOOD... feed me some more of that food.

Makes a mockery of that Dutch Country when done right I must admit.

I am in a conflict this week. I have a oppertunity to purchase a halfway adequate vehicle for the few thousand in price which will be what it costs to bring my old tahoe to 100% mechanically sound condition and electrical excellence.

In these crazy times they say a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. I am leaning towards fixing or rebuilding the tahoe rather. However the vehicle that came along is what I think a road car should have in terms of power, roll cage protection, fog lights and so on. Not much of a engine for a V6 when you consider the variable timing and chains are weak when you dont feed the thing oil. Or replace the gaskets up top valve cover on those GM V6's

I think I will let the vehicle go. And work on the Tahoe. This would not be the year to commit to debt in a purchasing etc.

That started back in about 1974 when they quit making glass bottles for two liters sodas.

The government is shutting everything down... ALL government buildings, schools, bus terminals, shopping centers, non-essential business, borders with other countries in South America....
So, I "adventured" to the city of Rio earlier this morning when intrastate buses were still moving... the power company wasn't attending customers inside of their office. People, elderly and all had to wait outside on the street to be attended at the door...
Was lucky to get something done at a store in a shopping mall... they are all closed now for undetermined time...
Downtown Rio had very few street vendors and less than half the people it normally has on the streets... and there were more bums and homeless people than others...
The dollar keeps going up and UP and UP very quickly here... :biggrin_2554:
There were no buses to come back to the city of Cabo Frio cause government ordered the main city bus station to shut down at noon today..
So, I went outside the bus terminal where I know 4 wheelers drive people to and from Rio to Cabo Frio at a charge...
There I sat, near the curb for a while waiting for more passengers to arrive so we could all get in the vehicle... That's the place, under an overpass where homeless people sleep..

I heard that police on the road was monitoring passenger vehicles and not allowing more than 4 people in each vehicle.... :biggrin_2554: But as we passed their station, we saw them inside enjoying the A/C... :biggrin_25523:
