To be clear, my sarcastic supertrucker comment wasn’t directed at anyone in particular, just a general statement. But hey, if the shoe fits, feel free to wear it.

Truckers path shows a dozen truck stops and 3 rest areas along that route. Im sure not all of them have parking, but there is parking to be had if you plan for it and are willing to adjust your schedule for it.
Personally if I booked a legal load on that route where I didn't have to deal with curfews I would plan on parking at the holiday in munising, mi. That leaves 2 back up locations before getting to 75 where there is additional parking, tho less reliable late in the day. If I ran it regularly I would scope out picklemans in newberry to see if it was reliable later in the day.tarmadilo Thanks this. -
My Dad grew up in Marquette, we used to go up to spend family vacations there and in Munising. I remember driving the family station wagon on the legendary “Seney Stretch” (25 miles of straightaway through a swamp on M28) when I was 16 and had just gotten my drivers license. Dad didn’t unclench until we got to Munising!

Trust me, I know where they all are. Rapid river is only place with showers. Some need coffee first thing, I need a shower.
