So after numerous times of Donner being closed finally made it to twin falls. Wife says hey let's head to Salt lake city. Me liking to keep the cook happy says sure. She has wanted to take a tour of Mormon tabernacle for awhile so have time now to do it. Roll into SLC just after the earthquake 5.7 small one for a commiefornian. But place is a mess. No tours happening. So turn and head back westbound cook is not pleased.

 

Arkansas is in the waiting time of quiet before big storms start organizing for about 2 to 3 PM CST.

Picked up medicines today. Pharmacy is forted up. Go through the drive through. Its my least favorite activity.

Im pretty sure if one of the staff got sniffles or something the Pharmacist can grab any number of pills or liquids whip up a batch and pour it down staffers throat.

But of course thats not legal.... I very much prefer the practical problem solving on the spot. Rules just get in the way.

You will want to hole up in Kit Carson at the truckstop there if you can. That is not the road to be fooling with (US 287) in that situation. Too many sharp short hills with drop offs deep enough to kill you if you roll her over off pavement.
