its a hard drive that doesnt use spinny bits of magnetic nature to store information.

The compromises made for laptop hdds make them very slow. which is a huge detriment to the overall speed of a laptop.

i bought a pair of cheap drives for my laptops and one went from frustrating to use to acceptable, and the newer one is quite snappy considering its about 5 years old.

 

If you don't have a netflix or other subscription. Install Kodi and then the video add-on The Crew. You'll get all the TV shows and Movies you'll ever need.

I agree, and a M.2 if they support it. SSD is also safer because well it is "solid state" vs standard HDs. So less worry about damage from bouncing around in a rough truck ride.

 

According to the current DNC tabulations I qualify for two titles now:
1. Deplorable
2. Non-essential
