Maybe if you knew how to properly pretrip your truck and trailer you would've known you had a bad chamber.

As much as I agree with the need to properly pretrip a truck, I've had those fail halfway through the day more than once. I'm not sure that's a fair assumption.

    Little harsh aint ya.

Sometimes stuff craps out, no warning, it just goes bad. I fail to see how that reflects on the driver, unless, of course, he left his crystal ball back at the yard.

Aw crap, alternator quit charging, worked fine when I started.

Tires all looked good this morning, thumped and looked at every one, so why did I leave a gator in the road.

Almost to the load point, losing pressure, what's that, a pin hole in the air line off the compressor, was fine this morning when I left.

Driver, did you know you had a headlight out, nope, they both worked when I did my pre-trip inspection.

    etc, etc, etc.....

He flat out said his air pressure wouldn't build over 100psi. I posted that he coule easily check to see if he has a leak by setting his brakes, build air, shut truck off release trailer brakes, GET OUT and listen. No leaks? Set trailer brakes, release tractor brakes and repeat.

    WesternPlains and 650cat425 Thank this.
