Go home and be with family or give your life to a trucking company that knows you only by a series of numbers...

Don’t most of these trucks have a remote shut off? IE, the company can disable you? Like if you tell them you’re sick and you’re driving it home 800 miles from where you’re at, they can just shut you down?

I dont have any suggestions as we are all in different positions owners and company drivers.
But I whole heartedly agree that we are on our own and nobody is coming to our rescue if we go down .
I also feel it's just a matter of time before drivers start getting sick on the road given our travels and the poor health and hygiene of alot of drivers.

It will happen, and it will come from the truck stops like loves and pilots and then they’ll start shutting down the inside of their stores and keeping the fuel isles open. Also, showers are going to be closed which is going to make our jobs even that much more miserable. LOL we’re all going to have to resort to taking sponge baths out on the road. I predict within a week all the truckstops will close off the interior of their stores and will only be able to pull up and pump fuel. Want to place a wager on that? I already went to one loves near the Texas Oklahoma border in the showers were closed.

I'm going to go directly to the home terminals of Swift, Schneider, Prime, and CRE and shelter at each one for several days.
