I would ask, just to let them know you are paying attention to it. That is not unreasonable.

Hey Lenny (OP)... I am a lot like you, in that it pissed me off with the BS pulled on drivers regarding paid mileage calculations. They should pay hub miles, and WOULD if they actually trusted us. I’ve driven for a couple of companies that paid “daily pay”, only to have it changed back to mileage due to the few morons that took advantage of them. They screw “the many” of us due to “the few” morons amongst us that screw them back... and so it goes. No trust at all.

What gets me is the manipulation of multi stop loads. A load that went from Dallas to Jacksonville (not exactly but this happened to me with similar miles) with a stop in mobile.
It was offered Dallas to mobile with a stop in Jacksonville
It was loaded wrong, the proper order of course
When redone I made 1800 more with the less miles of course True story just different cities. But it was 540 miles shorter in the end and a lot more revenue. It was about 2.45 a mile in the first offer. I got the real pay in the end, but jeez. My future plans have changed with this company I’m leased to. Less than 3 weeks and I’m in the market
