Can I mount a 2 inch receiver bracket 829BB3EC-1A52-4ED0-8E6B-9380250A71C0.jpeg to my front bumper to install a bike rack?

I think you'd draw less attention to yourself if it was behind the cab or you can get one of those folding bikes and just keep it inside.

I admit this is a snarky question, but I do mean it. Are you sure you want to do this? What happens when you for some reason are parked and any part of your bike is sticking out in the open. Next time some jackwagon drives by not paying any attention! Do you really want to expose your bike to this? Really? In my driving career at least every 5 or 6 months I would see clear damage in a truck stop where another driver took off a front bumper or a fender because of not taking the offset tracking of the back tandems into account! I highly advise you to keep that bike on the catwalk.

    And its gone.

    The bike that is.

I still got a old sears bike from the early 80's in the shed somewhere back east. It would cost so much to rebuild it but think the frame has had too many miles on it.

There has been too many times I would sort of nudge or rest the front end on something to get that extra inch in docking. That bike would be in the way or worse hook on something and get ripped off.

    D.Tibbitt and lovesthedrive Thank this.

I think your inviting disaster to hang a bike on the front. The only point to putting a hitch on the front is because what ever driver cant back up worth beans.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Come to think of it, take the wheels off, and bring it inside. I did that on a R model day cab I had to overnight once. Be dirty behind the cab too.
BTW, what is the TP on the bumper for? Wet TP, no less.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Mount a toilet set there instead of a bike.
Fold it up when not in use.
