Calling and leaving an explanation at the phone number they provided is enough.

I strongly recommend you sign up for the Post Office service called Informed Delivery. Any day they deliver mail they send a pic of that mail to an email address you provide. I use a PO Box and this is how I see my mail while OTR. You can't read your mail, but you can see if you have something from the IRS, state DMV, etc. Informed Dellivery from the Post Office is free.

 

Say nothing and continue living life.

 

I just went through this you need to Go down and serve a day and it gets washed away

Exactly. Depending on the State the O/P hails from, maybe..maybe not. The fully shut down 5 (or more?) states.. nope. Not at all. Letting low level offenders OUT of jail..waiting for court, atm here in Ohio. Ours are at about the same.. in Ohio.

If you get another notice tell them you showed up but the doors were locked. Sorry
