Definitely time to walk. You haven't officially been hired yet.

Leave. But be sure to add them in any application. Reason for leaving. "Job/Pay was different than was told during hiring"

Always do a walk around of the yard , do a quick post trip on the bone pile , and see what kind of rides the drivers have , if its all junk move along.
I dont care for cheap fleets with dirt parking lots either.

You're technically in a probationary period, and some companies don't officially consider you as an employee until you get through that time. I'd tell them why you're leaving and give them a warning. If anything appears negative on your DAC, you report what you've seen and documented to your state's DOT.

That’s exactly what this place is. Bare bones trucks duct tape and super glue fixes. If it’s not critical just ignore it

For the purposes of DOT/FMCSA rulemaking compliance, a driver is an employee once they finish orientation and are handed that fuel card. This applies all across the driving spectrum as well.

In this situation, we are discussing a possible DAC entry noting the unfinished orientation. This is not a positive or negative situation by itself. I might also add that not all carriers report these unfinished orientations. As most of the commenters have said, people walk out of these things all the time. Some are sent home and some just see they won't fit and leave. The main issue a prospective new employer will look for is why you walked out. Did you lie on the application? Did your drug test come back positive? Did a previous employer report bad information you have failed to tell them? These things can trip up a driver. I have spoken to many people about what they look for when making hiring decisions. To a person, an unfinished orientation is a none factor. What is a factor for them is why. This is why when advising people on this issue. Be totally honest on that application. Don't answer a question not asked. Don't provide information not asked for. List all unfinished orientations and why you left. 99% of the time that carrier won't give a tinkers #### about it!
