1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

well its a job and i am glad that you found a job for the moment and heck its better then being on the side lines watching the world go by . I have been out for 7 months taking care of myself and family just to find out last monday that the ol lady is 34 weeks along in pregnancy.... Now i will be out for a couple months more but i would not miss my baby girls birth for anything. P.s. The phone is ringing off the hook with job offers...... Lifes a trip , enjoy the journey.

    thank you.
and congrats on the news for the new arrival. i don't have any kids, but lots of nieces and nephews, and a god grandson.
i do have a room mate and her daughter is wonderful, for a teenager. she graduated and is going to go the the local college for nursing, and got As in high school.
i think that things may be starting to look up. it will take time, but things will get better.

well i went to Cox and was in orientation, after my physical and after having lunch on them, then when there was just 2 videos to watch, and me having to answer some hazmat questions, the safety director wanted to see me, and then he said i am denied. i said what?? he said their insurance company, i guess, said no way. now here i am i drive 2 trips down there, wasted my gas and time, thinking i was hired and they get a call that said no on hiring me. i thought it was ok'd by the owner, and everything, and it was set. i signed papers and took info for direct deposit, and so on and then almost through the day to the end i am told no way.
    this is ticking me off.:biggrin_25510:
