I hate having my face feel sticky and grimy. I just take a paper towel and soak it with water, and wipe my face and neck and forehead. That's usually late in the day, but I still need to drive another 100 miles.

Carry a small plastic washbasin with me, gallon of water I refill frequently, washcloths and towels. Its called a GI bath. If you really want more than that, there's a "Sun Shower" product you can get at camping stores that works really well - just need a bit of privacy for that.

you can also get wipes that are used for people who are disabled or are elderly at walmart. they are a thicker wipe and have a soap in them. they work well when you are not able to take a shower. no rinsing. just wash yourself and throw it away. works well in a pinch and are better than a regular wipe imho.

I have thought about a camp shower, using the catwalk on the back of the tractor, still think it is an ok idea, just never have implemented it.

Get a couple of tarps too... keep you from being charged with negligent homicide when they start keeling over from the sight of your bare arse!

I always carried wet wipes and our truck had a sink in it so i carried water and could freshin up that way. They also have waterless shampoos on the market that work pretty good. As a woman, I always made sure we had plenty of beauty items in the truck. A girl likes to look good, even for her husband. Plenty of baby powder and you're ready to go!

    1 Tupperware container
    1 Bottle of rubbing alcohol
    1 Small towel.

Pour enough alcohol in the container to totally cover the small towel/wash cloth, after every use store back in sealed container so alcohol doesn't evaporate.

I get hot water at the last ts I go by before I shut down. When I wake up I use a oil of olay wet wipe to wash with. Then wet my wash clothe with hot water to rinse with.
I also have no problem with washing up at a rest area. Most of the time no one is in the rest room. And I only sit on the counter while I'm shaving my leggs!!!:biggrin_25526:
