i have a question for US truckers.
How long have you held your bladder for whilst driving?
In Europe the law states that you have to take a 45 minute break for every 4 1/2 hours of driving, so no problem there, anyone can hold it that long. But here i guess you can drive solid for 11 hours, so anyone got any special urination equipment or a good story about how long they held it in for.
My record is about 12 hours, was running on "the wire" so didn't take a break.

I've always been the kind of person who hates taking time for restroom breaks. So I had the bad habit of holding it till I just couldn't hold it anymore, even in my factory days when the restroom was 20 feet away and I could go anytime I wanted.
I'm paying for it now. I'm not even close to old yet, but I've got the bladder control of a 90 year old. Lesson learned. I stop as soon as I feel the urge. If that means taking a quick break every hour, so be it.
P.S. And I still hate taking the time
