Another case of "lets uproot everything everyone has done for the past several years just because one person made a mistake"
Yeah, we'll get right on that. -
Ah, so it's been long enough that everyone has forgotten that the electronics failed on a poorly maintained bus that had been plagued with problems for months. Now it's the driver's fault.
Sorry, I don't think those busses even have a "park" setting. What does being in park have to do with the bus not being able to stop for a red light? -
Guess the term accident should no longer be used. One idiot makes a mistake and they push legislation. i guess human are no longer able to make mistakes. Wether it be drivers or engineers.
-
What are they going to do about cars that the driver hits the gas and not the brake and runs over other people or runs into a building and drives inside it? are they going to redo the cars as well now??
-
Hey... passing unneeded legislation gives all those elected laywers that are too lazy to work a real job something to do.
-
Most newer cars already require the brake pedal to be depressed before the car can be shifted out of park.
But I don't see what bearing that has on the bus accident mentioned in the OP. -
why don't the driving schools teach the newbees the differance between the break pedal and the accelarater pedal???
-
They do. At least the one I went to did.
LOL -
If you dont kno the differance between the BRAKE pedal and the FOOTFEED, "DONT" get into the vehicle!!!
Simple as that!!!
