$130 for a pair of Keens with composites every 9 months. Very short breakin period. Very comfortable and light.
I work tough conditions for boots, and I'm out in it about 4-5 hours a day. They're ventilated so they'll dry out, and I wear them year round.
For me, its always the Gore-tex vents that rot out. When they're done, the soles are about shot by then too, from catwalks and steps.

I hate steel toes and I won't wear them.
I like to hike and camp so I am partial to hiking boots. I also like to have waterproof boots when possible.
Salomon is my favorite brand. They are pricey but worth it imo. My last pair was $109 from Amazon.stacks Thanks this. -
I paid $160 for Timberland Pro boots. They lasted 4 years. I now buy Cintas AirDisk for $75 and they last 2 years and are much lighter and the sole is more sturdy.stacks Thanks this.

You must have Narrow feet

Normal I think, I can't stand the square toed cowboy boots, feel like a clown walking around with giant feet.650cat425 Thanks this.

If you have wide feet there isn’t any other option
-
Sure there is. Keene is known for making wider than the size indicates.
You guys got me thinking stupid. There is a pair of Ostrich Justin's at boot barn. They are sooooo comfortable! I'm resisting going and getting them.
