Yes I hate going there or even driving thru there. Particularly on I81.

 

Get to Dial Corp in Edwardsville to grab my load at 1030am...get told its not ready it will be a couple hrs...ok came to pontoon beach terminal...called at 1pm its not ready it will be a couple hrs....called back at 5pm and get told they are loading it now...IT WILL BE A COUPLE HRS! I politely told the lady on the phone they have a weird meaning for "couple hrs" down here since I have been told that since 1030am.....phone fell silent lol.

 

Spent the night they had me loaded at 0400.

 

Nice chunk of detention. That place sucks

 

It's always been DnH when I've been there except for one time, and then they had already started on my load before I got there so it was still sorta DnH. Have we quit doing that there?

 

No its a drop if you are lucky enough for it to be actually be loaded already. If its not loaded already just count on minimum 6hrs

 

....and just when you thought Midwest in Memphis couldn't get any worse....

 

Yeah Memphis is definitely the weak link in the La Crosse, Rochester triangle and it just got weaker.

I was in La Crosse recently and had a live load. They loaded me in 20 minutes if not a bit less. I commented to the guy checking me out that they did in 20 minutes what it takes Memphis most days to do in 2-3 hours if you're lucky. He said they are working on "fixing that". I hope he is right and they succeed.

 

I was dreading going to MidWest last week. The load I was delivering wasn’t due till Fri at 0500. The load I was picking up there was Thu 0600. Yes you read that right. I got there at 0500 Thu morning and told the receiver lady my problem. I thought she was gonna come through that glass and kiss me she was so excited. Lol, “that’s the hot load we’ve been looking for” she said. “Come on baby, hit door 25 and I’ll reload you in the same door”. Fork yeah I’m thinking. Unloaded and reloaded by 0630. Twilight zone I’m thinkin’. Lol,,,,

 

Wow, my last hot load from there I sat for 34 hours.
