Do you know why Cowboy boots are made with a toe sticking out? It's because horses would step on your toes. This way. Gives them something to step on. And it's not your toe.
Also....shape of those pointed toes. Old fashioned steel toe. Horse wouldn't crush it.Last edited: Mar 27, 2020

There nice to good for wearing in the Truck though

I will check them out online but the Timberland I was Looking at would be to hot for summer use better of with cheap Walmart boots for summer months

I’m more partial to engineer boots anyway.

Actually... if you've ever found the western boot that is for your foot. They do a much better job on them. They fit much better. Can actually buy them smaller than others. But you pay for it.
That is partly why I bought these. Also partly the Ostrich is softer.
Never intended these for anything but dress up. They cost too much.stacks Thanks this. -
I bought some steel-toe Cats for about $100 from Fred Meyer. They’ve been great but it’s only been 2 months. I’d be surprised if I’m still happy to put them on after 6-months, but time will tell. I’m a little hard on boots/shoes, and I weigh about 265#. I’d like Red Wings, I think.
stacks Thanks this. -
I'm 265# as well. I love my RedWing 3507's. I wear them on the shop concrete all day. If it's a short run I'll wear the boots. Anything over 200 miles and I slip on the crocs.
HiramKingWilliams Thanks this.
