So many new drivers.

    You are absolutely right. It gets pretty frustrating when you have gotten accustomed to running really good miles, and were unfortunate enough to assume you could plan your financial future on that certain amount of money i.e, purchasing a home, etc dependent on that money only to find your in a precarious position now with the economy the way it is. Guess I should just resign myself to the fact that the money just isnt there and may never be again. I should be thankful that I had a decent paycheck for the 7 years prior to the last year. That old adage that when you "assume" only makes an ### out of u and me holds true, doesnt it?

    I can only tell you why I looked at trucking again: After getting laid off and seeing how bad the design/engineering sector of the economy is, I figured trucking would recover quicker than anything else.

    And, when I did it before, I made good money right out of trucking school.
