    The load from hell-

    Nothing load to pay for my fuel, make a few bucks from PHX to Southern communist state.

    Go to pick up-

    No pick up number. 20 minutes goes by, shipper goes to lunch. Another 20 minutes goes by get pick up number ( from CS ). Another 20 minutes goes by shipper returns.

    Locks herself out of her scale house.

    2 hours after arriving, have tare weight. 3 hours after arriving, loaded.

    Get to receiver-

    7 to 11 FCFS.

    Reciever, "You're appointment was 0700. You're last now ( 1400 ).

    SO

    Gotta blind in, ultra tight, like a 2 foot drop off in front of the steers if you miss.

    SO

    Tore my driver side mud flap and bracket off on the curb.

    The OM is not pleased.

    What is a little bigger? The hotel room here? :biggrin_2554:
    The hotel apartment in Brasil was definitely a lot bigger than this one... and MUCH cheaper...

    This was the apartment in the hotel in Cabo Frio... about U$500.00 per month
    Living room, kitchen with 4 burners stove, big refrigerator, pots, dishes, silverware, etc, bathroom, laundry area, bedroom with king size bed and closet....

    On the first floor of that hotel there was a bakery, snack bar, luncheonette, with tables and TV for folks to enjoy meals, have a beer or juice, or a pizza... and only 10 walking minutes from Forte Beach and 5 walking minutes from supermarket... I miss that place... and only U$500.00 a month!! :biggrin_25519:
