let's see 5 accidents due to this. 3/4 of all fatalities do not even involve trucks, and of the remaining 1/4, about 2/3's the truck is not at fault. So somewhere close to 15/16's of the fatalities are not trucks fault or even involved, but where does all the scrutiny go? I sure wouldn't want medical treatment this wrongly applied.
