Podcasts, audio books, and music from iphone

You can ask Siri to play any song that’s in your library and it will play it.

 

If that is possible, then it's not an intuitive process and most likely involves some app that I didn't know about at the time, which was more than a year ago. Downloading a podcast is easy with an Android device, not easy with the iPhone 6 I had. I can't make it any clearer than that. Put up or shut up.

 

Clearly it’s user error because I don’t need any special apps or anything it’s literally one press of a button.

What iOS version are you running?

 

The iPhone 6 was bought brand new in June of 2018, so whatever ios that was in effect at that time. I have since given the phone away to a family member and will remain with Android. I remember doing searches online to see if there was a trick or app to use to DOWNLOAD the mp3 podcasts and remember reading that it WAS NOT possible at that time on ios mobiles. So there's that! I'm done with this thread.

 

The trick is “hey Siri” followed by whatever you’re wanting it to do.

Good be done. Next time don’t argue about a phone you don’t even have or know how to work. I was going to be nice and make a screen recording video showing you exactly how to do it but now I’m just annoyed you’ve wasted our time.

FYI it’s not a problem with Apple or iPhone when the user doesn’t know how their device properly.
