I need to stop being so cheap & buy a machine tarp already.. I pass up a fair amount of good paying little LtLs all the time cause I hate dragging out an 8' drop for something like this.. LoL, I covered it with just the end flap..
Sheet I need to turn that hook around..

 

Go to tarpstop they will hook ya up good. I just bought 2 , 4ft drops about a month ago 250 a piece and they have already paid for themselves

 

A guy I run into the mill with asked his insurance guy after his hood got smashed from a suicidal four legged white tail varmit after they wrote him a 20k+ check...."If I get a 5k varmit rack put on do I get a discount on my insurance".... Nope

I'm at 23 deer I've hit with my truck....five with the current bumper. Those stainless bug catchers that I have below my headlights are supposed to be straight with the bumper....not the angled back Aero design that mine is sporting. I built new bottom mounts for my AC condenser because they was snapped clean off. My condenser has a nice bow to it now....scoops the air right in there.

 

I'd like to see the press for that die.

The genuis's that I used to work for put the presses right across the aisle from the tool room. You know cause everything is on isolation pads it's OK...nice and convenient for the die builders to work on.

You could tell how sharp the die on the big press was by the thump in your chest every time it hit.....it was about a quarter the size of that die.

Ummm, they wanted the D-Rings on the top? Depending on what kind of root stand and the size of the blade, that may cause some trouble.

 

Probably. Place called Arconic? My description is 3 skids of iron or steel. Guess we'll find out in a while.

 

Something happens when they become nurses. Mine used to take good care of me if I got sick. Now that she's a nurse, it's no mercy whatsoever.

 

My mother is a retired ER nurse. She had 3 hell raising boys. Having your mom pick stones out of your backside from dumping a dirt bike at 17 while running from sheriff, I accused her for not being gentle. As embarrassing as it was, I still think she added some pain to it on purpose. She still pleads the fifth.

 

Yet to see a DSV with a tarp on it — well maybe the rgn guys but never the stepdeck leases.
