delivered that load In Azusa .ca a day early.
went 5 miles to my next load and then went to fontana truck stop to weight.
500 lbs on tandem.
drove back to get it reworked and good to go
only had less than an hour left so came here for the nite.
due to bad weather on the 70... meeting other driver in Lupton az.

 

Yeah, the second message makes me suspect there was an outbreak there.

But my DM and Flatbed Saftey/Securement/Training instructor had no idea.

 

I looked it up, the Seven Feathers was closed by the tribe who owned it as part of the corona virus response.

Sometimes things are more boring than they appear.

 

Seven feathers is open and im here right now, think u guys just got banned LOL some reviews on truckerspath says swift and knight is not allowed

 

There is a Seven Feathers Casino that is not part of the truck stop, being down the road on the other side of I-5. The casino is probably closed.

I would like to know why both Swift and Knight are banned, though.

I have gone in there for potatoes. They carry some nice big ones from time to time.

 

Moose might have it, maybe its the resort, idk. Been a few years since I stopped by there.

Oh well, I prefer my method of never stopping anyway.

If we really are banned from the truck stop, id still really like to hear what happened. Gotta really do something stupid to turn away 20k potential cash cows.

Home again, home again...

I have a big turkey dinner planned for Sunday, getting the family all together.
Except for Leann, who is still stuck in Italy.

And Sunday is Luana's (my oldest daughter (from this marriage)) daughters first birthday, as well as her boy friend/common law husband/father of said child's birthday. (Well, that was a mouthful.)
Yes. The father and daughter have the same birthday.

left Lupton az around 6am and stopped at the pilot at i40 ex 9 for a shower and 30 minute break.
worse shower I have had.
couldn't get the water hot. was just like warm
and the a/c was blowing cold air right on top of me as I shaved.
which made me colder.
went and told the cashier. she ask if I wanted to speak to manager, said no, I just told you.
told here the sink water was real hot. maybe I should shower in that lol
won't stop there again

 

Planner didnt let me down, he got me a load alright. All the way to long beach. We have been sitting in Hesperia since yesterday. Better than absolutly nothing but whatevs.
