Let's not forget that the iPhone 6 came out in 2014 and be purchased a new one 4 years later and now in 2020 6 years later he's complaining about a 6 year old phone that he doesn't even know how to use.

Meanwhile Apple has released iPhones, 6s & 6s Plus, 7 & 7 Plus, 8 & 8 Plus SE, X, XR, XS & XS Max and most recently iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max

So he can miss me with all that iPhone's suck BS.

    In my opinion, Mac.

Of course I only say that because I can’t figure out Windows and Apple products are made for dummies like myself. :)

I learned DOS from the command line and I'm not giving up now.

The computer I learned on was a remote teletype in Newport. Black ink spool ribbon, and a roll of yellow paper. The finest the Navy had to offer.

Program in 2+2 equals, and two minutes later it would print out 4 every single time.

Yes, it all depends on your settings I believe. I normally have mine plugged in and unlocked with Waze gps going. I like knowing about most of the speed traps and how it reroutes around major traffic jams before the cb chatter normally reaches me. If only it would recognize the vehicle size and take restricted roads into account also. With that going I say “Hey Siri....”, click one button to get it playing, then “Hey Siri, Open Waze” to get back to it. I think there’s still quite a ways to go with the in app Siri commands, but I am running an 8 so maybe the newer ones are more intuitive.

I was an android user for years and loved my Samsung’s, but got tired of them getting unbearably laggy after just a couple years. Still have an IPhone 5s and SE sitting in a drawer that work fine(besides the cracked screens from my clumsy hands dropping them). With Apple buying so many parts from Samsung, the hardware is so close anymore, but iOS and security is the big difference for me. Different people, different preferences.

On a closing note, any iPhone users, say “Hey Siri. I see a little silhouetto of a man.” ... ... You’re welcome.

If she was supposed to reply “scarramuchhi, scarramuchhi, can you do the fandango?” she didn’t. I got a “tap to edit” command.

You are trying to portray me as someone who is not technically proficient, which is not the case. To download a podcast on an Android phone is easy. You go to the webpage of the podcast, find the download part, long press it and then "save as mp3" appears, you click it and it downloads. Very easy to do, especially when you use a download manager like ADM. The iPhone I had did not have this capability and the podcasts I listen to were not on the now defunct iTunes. I stand by my experience.

I'll never buy another iPhone, as I could buy 3 very powerful Androids for the price of one iPhone. Just keep making Apple rich by being a fan boy for them. Wait in line much for the newest they have?

I'm not trying to do anything, in fact, myself and others came here to offer assistance which we quickly learned proved fruitless.

You are the one that said you purchased a 4 year old phone and by your own admission, never bothered to update it, and then when you grew frustrated with a 4 year old, never updated, phone you gave it away in protest. At some point you decided to come here raging against a phone you no longer have that's now outdated by 6 years and 7 new phone releases. Further, despite numerous member comments all telling you what is possible and how to do it, you remain defiant and rude to the very people who tried to help.

Lastly, and I do mean lastly, if owning an apple product and knowing how to use it makes me a fanboy so be it. You've made it abundantly clear that Apple's products and their prices are beyond your comfort level, so enjoy your "very powerful" androids.
