Possibly looking for a t680. ive found a few 2017s with under 300k on them. How are people liking the auto trans? Kinda strange how it’s got like a car shifter. From my understanding they are 10 speeds?
Ate the paccar engines still terrible and should be avoided?

Company I work for has mostly bought glider kits (Pete and KW), but has also been buying new trucks for the last 2 years.
The T880s are MX13s with automatics, typically, and the 389s are MX13s with 13 speed manuals. They’re happy with the MX13 over the X15. They have a few of the X15s also, but the Paccars are the only ones they’re now buying. So it appears the MX isn’t as awful as it was a few years ago.alds Thanks this. -
The 12 speed auto is a great transmission.
As for the Paccar, I have never had an issue in 300k miles.
