    Weird,real weird for now.
In the last week i loaded 4 loads for Lombardy,Italy(yes that is the region with the most deaths in Italy).
FYI those loads go there by train,i run intermodal tankers, for those who don't know.
So impossible to predict what wil happend where.

Many trucks are parked here because lack off work.
I do hear that the UK is shutting down.
Now is a good time to have savings.
I expect to have a couple off weeks off before this virus is gone.

On a side note, sadly we have the record for the youngest death in Europe.
A 12y girl old died in Belgium from Corona.
    No known previous conditions.
    RIP.

How do you know the fault codes?
What are you using to see them?

So how many of the truck manufacturers worldwide are shutdown? I believe all the US plants are down.
I operate 3 tippers in the UK and we have been operating delivering stone, sand and gravel etc up till now. The quarries we use have gradually been closing down and as of Tuesday our local quarry rang at lunchtime to say they would finish at 1600 hrs so not much notice.
I can just about keep my 2 drivers going today as we have a small stock in our yard and everyone is at home doing home improvements.
I can furlough them for 3 weeks at a time and claim 80% of the wages back. Since all pubs and restaurants are closed and we can get mortgage holidays I think it’s a fair deal for them although they don’t think so.
I have 1 truck with 1 years finance left with Scania finance and I receive emails regularly about easing the payments. Our insurance co have also called to see if we need help.
Going to be a rough ride?

I have telematics from my Daf dealer and they are quite cool people, one phone call and they read all fault codes and send it to me via email. Today I also noticed that he has over 50% dpf buildup.

I know what they mean, but thanks.

Could you imagine what it would be like to see drivers on both sides of the pond getting along and appreciating each other's trucks?
