    Been an interesting month.

It was a month ago that my neighborhood was ground up by an F4 tornado here in Cookeville TN.
The tornadoes path ran parallel to my house about 1/2 mile in front of us.

We were lucky and had no damage. My wife was home at the time and couldn't hear it due to the force of the rain.
She didn't realize it had hit until she left for work around 0600 and drove directly into the destruction. We were on the phone at the time and she lost it because emergency personnel were just arriving.
Words cannot describe the devastation. The cleanup continues still.

    And now the covid-19 hits.

My wife became very ill last week while I was out and the doctors would not test her until she had been sick for a week.

I come home to be with her since she has to self quarantine. We follow all prescribed procedures.

Fortunately, we are well stocked up and supplies are not an issue. We could go for a couple of months if necessary.

Finally we were able to get her tested yesterday and she only has Type A influenza along with pneumonia in one lung. Who would have ever thought that would be a good diagnosis.

Steroids and antibiotics should take care of her but now I have it....

Big G has been very good and keeps in touch with us. Told me to take all the time I need to recover.

I hope everyone takes this seriously. My son-in-law, who is a driver also, did test positive for covid-19 and is finally starting to feel better after 2 weeks.

    Stay safe.
