    This company should have been allowed to die after the maxxfarce. The cost cutting to try and make up for past mistakes makes me think they will never build a hayfield hotrod worthy of owning again.

    They sold off the farm implement part of the company to Tenneco (Case) back in the mid 80s.

    yeah, i recall they did sell some years ago. they should buy it back, or just start a new brand, and maybe name it,
    Navistar Farm Equipment..(rather than IH, if Case bought the rights to that name)

    they did make a good pick up truck and 4x4 as i had worked on them, in my youth.

    Well if Mexican carriers are more willing to drive a 25+ year old International cabover instead of a 5 year old International ProStar with a MaxxForce engine,that should tell you everything you need to know about the “quality” of International trucks in recent years..

    and they can drive them, and be very happy.

    i never liked driving a rolling sauna.
