I passed 2 trucks pulling MB trailers with the graphics removed heading EB on the OTP today. Hopefully this means they've found a dark place to send those things so they won't be ####ting up the yard in Richfield for 5ever.
I'm at the Gary TA. I can deliver to University Park any time tomorrow morning. Does it make any sense with this company to try to be empty any earlier than 6 am or so? Sometimes it seems to work for me, and sometimes I end up feeling like I've just wasted part of my 14 by getting started too early.

Unless I am preplanned on a load after I don't for exactly the reason you gave. Load planners do not start working until 0700 CST so likely to not have a load handed out until after that time.
I generally do not go anywhere too early anymore unless I am 99% sure I am likely to be able to deliver / pick up early. By too early I mean more than an hour before my appointment time. Too many times all I accomplished was starting my clock too early and wasting it so I don't bother anymore. If I have a time window what I do varies depending various things but never before the time I think someone will be around to assign me my next load.Farmer54 Thanks this. -

I was talking with another Millis driver here at Midwest and he said people had been stealing beer out of the trailers parked outside and that a few drivers had been robbed. And that's why the cops aren't letting people stay here.

In the Trenton black hole again. Dropped a relay load here this morning about 0715. 1930hrs now. (Sigh) Lotta trucks here, I was #2 on the list at 1500, no truck movement outbound except coming through for fuel. I did manage to drop 160 bucks at Kroger to restock my truck. Got to meet Ryan Nickerson and Justin Henderson. Cool guys. Reentering the bored AF state again. Think I’ll clean the floor of my truck again. Pffft.

Also about a month ago, I picked up an empty that I am pretty sure had gotten "borrowed" from us for a load or two, and I am pretty sure the trailer number was one from one of these "Have you seen this trailer?" posts from about s year or so ago. It had residue from placard stickers on it and somebody had used a sharpie to write 4 letters (I think they were "RDWY") in front of the trailer number. Would like to know the story behind that, too.Still undecided Thanks this.
