MID 128 is engine, not trans. MID 130 is trans. I'm not at work, but I believe MID 128 SID 231 is EGR calibration. Look at the harnesses coming out of the EGR valves where they bend up and into the channel. See if they are rubbed through against the channel.
MID 128 SID 231 FM2 error code.. what does it mean and how to fix it??

Thank you all for your help.
I fixed the problem after weeks or research and following advices here but also from troubleshooting.
It was transmission control unit(TCU).
I already replaced it once like 2 years and 3 months ago unfortunately.
This time around they(Eaton) increased price to almost double since this equipment is old and they are outsourcing it. -
EDIT:
Problem is still existant even with new TCU. I will be able to exchange it for something else.
I also noticed that my voltage is dropping to 12.8 when hard shifts are happening.
I will try keypad(shifter) next.
My alternator is only few years old.
Battery connections are super clean..
Any ideas would be appreciated. -
Stop throwing expensive parts at it. Have someone with Service ranger software diagnose problem. Eaton ultra shift parts are not cheap.
Newto Trucking Thanks this. -
