CA Strong Arm's and SuperTag's

What area in Cali are from and plan on working? I would strongly pick the strong arm vs super tag. Yes they both have the same load hauling weight limits but the super dumps aka strong arms have a 15 foot box vs super tags having a 20 foot. Would I recommend this line of work? Its not bad if your smart and work with good people. In the Bay Area strong arm and super tag rates from good brokers are $120-130 an hour easy. Then you got the clown Indian brokers wanting to pay $100-115. Good brokers will pay daytime atleast 6 hours minium if not 8 and for night time 8 hour minium. The clowns for daytime 4 hours and night time they want to give 6 hours only get 7 hours if all the good brokers are busy and they can't find trucks for their jobs. Alot of guys here pull boxes for brokers so thats one good way. Brokers handle the work billing and maintaining the box. You just gotta maintain the truck.

 

Work for a dump company for a while, you will learn all the pits how the work goes and make contacts. There are no load boards for construction trucking If you go out and buy a truck it will be hard to keep busy with not knowing anyone. and if you need help since your completely green, no one will help you since your independent. If your first job is a massive job with 50 trucks on it you will be completely lost. Also there are a ton of supers looking for work right now since the fire clean ups are mostly over and many people bought them for that.

 

West coast sand and gravel has transfers there a pretty good company. Try end dumps and transfers too don’t limit your self to a super
