Stranger slaps crying toddler in Wal-Mart

There has been alot of times where I would have loved to have spanked a crying child in a store. You notice I say spanked? There is a big difference between spanking and slapping and a huge difference between the face and the butt! Also, have you ever been in a Wal-Mart after, oh, lets say 9PM and heard all the srcreaming kids? I want to walk up to the parents and say,"get this child home, they are tired!" What happened to the good old days of disciplining children without fear and giving them structure and stability? I have raised 3 daughters and helped with 3 grandsons and they were all raised with discipline, love and stability! I survived and so did they!

 

Exactly. I'm not advocating child abuse but it seems that there are more parents that aren't doing a very good job at controlling their kids these days. It seems that every place you go someones out of control kids are raising holy hell and the parent or parents are just ignoring them.

BUT I think if you bring your children into a PUBLIC place you better have them under control or AT LEAST be making an effort.

 

Assault is assault...be it on a child or an adult. It is wrong...and yes I do wonder why people are in WalMart, or any other store late, instead of having those tired, crying children home tucked safely away in bed. There are just some people who should not be parents! But to slap a two year old on the face is totally inappropriate, not to mention possible injury to their small brains from the motion of the slapping moving the head around.
You slap ,my child you go to jail....simple!
