hello,
i have an 2001 kenworth w900l with a c15 acert, i have no idea what type of c15 it is, i have some pretty good cat knowledge, i know its an acert bcs of the twin turbo and precooler set up, possibly MXS or BXS, but the valve cover just says c15, the truck originally came with a 6NZ but unfortunately it was swapped out before i bought it the parts all seem to come from different engines that fit each other but i have no idea, here are some pics that can help a more trained eye. i do have this part number off the front cover, 177-4153, also i know i could plug in a computer and see the serial number from the ecu but im not even sure this ecu is for this engine since so many things were changed out, thanks!
what c15 do i have??

Look at the S/N stamped on the block. That'll tell ya.
Pretty sure Cali would be a no go with either the MXS or BXS. Probably the only CAT you might be ok for Cali with would be an SDP.Bean Jr., lester, spsauerland and 1 other person Thank this. -
Looks like a 6nz that someone just bolted twins on.
Contrary to popular belief accert twins work very very well and support HP upgrades . Guy probably picked up used set twins off someone doing a single conversion.
I only see 1 pass through harness on valve cover spacer plate. Looks like a 6nz to me.Lalito.1234, Bean Jr., pushbroom and 4 others Thank this. -
