let that be one of one of the more valuable lessons you learn. cars are more important then that big truck and if they can. they WILL make a right hand turn inside your right hand turn. they don't care that you are in front of them and you are waiting for traffic to clear. and they don't care that you need more space to make turn. all they care is that you left them enough space to sneak inside you. they know you are slower so they will sneak inside and try to beat you making there turn. it happens all to often. and when you finally clear to turn. lo and behold. a car is now boxed inside you.


they also do it when your backing up. if your out on a street with traffic. can't tell you how many times i've had cars jump over the curb to get around me. even though it's obvious my tires are moving backwards.

can't speak for other states but here in utah. people really have no brains or any regards for there lives.

 

I think every state is that way.

 

I have (a lot of) experience towing trailers, I see the same problems you folks do..I think it will help prepare me for driving a truck, the main thing I'm concerned about is blindside backing, because in a pickup you can blindside back all day and just look through the rear window...no rear window in a truck with a sleeper...

 

so..how easy is the application process at Central..they pretty tough on apps?

 

Make that every country, seems obvious to us driving trucks not to do it but the four wheelers love to get past your truck whichever way possible so they can get behind the truck in front.

Jess, in one of the things it showed a release for time spent between jobs. The company I worked for went through layoffs, at which point I was released from the temp agency due to the layoff. Do I really have to find 4 people to corroborate this. I know it may not seem like I am an unsocial person, but honestly, we don't do much outside of kids and family. Finding 4 people who know I was under a layoff during that three month timeframe and who are not family is going to be harder than anything else. I don't know anyone I worked with's cell. Anyone else I use as personal references are not people I keep in regular touch with, they are more like professional people who know what kind of a professional person I am. You know? I don't have anything to hide. I literally called my old boss on a regular basis during the layoff to see if work had picked back up. When it finally did, they had me switch to another temp agency to save them money. Of course now he has been laid off and his cell phone is disconnected. Any suggestions.

 

Yep I would use Rels with a different name!! All my family and most of my friends are in Australia. I know about three people in the states who arent Rels.
