that card, or creating your own wireless network using a laptop with an aircard, your own wireless router in the truck and your Xbox would work, but most data agreements from the phone companies (even the ones that say unlimited!) have a 5 gigabite limit per month. I'm not familiar with what an Xbox would use.

I have something similar to that, but a little less expensive. All you really need is a wifi card, a computer, a wireless adapter for the 360 and a ad-hoc connection setup between the two.

Your laptop isn't using data if you aren't browsing/downloading. It basically acts as the router between your cell card and the Xbox.

    SmileyisSexy Thanks this.

an xbox has a ethernet port also a usb port. as long as it will work then that would be great. I can just imagine it getting on the road and buying it, then trying to install it in my truck and can't figure it out. Finding the nearest driver and asking him/her the dumpest question: Can you help me hook up my xbox to my cellular router and aircard? lol.

I posted some links to reviews but I got a message that it had to be approved by the Mods so it may not make it. Google is your friend.I put in the product name and found several reviews right away.

I did this with a laptop and a playstation 2. I used the wi-fi at Flying J ( you could use an aird card as well) and a crossover ethernet cable, which I plugged from the laptop to the back of the playstation 2, then turned on internet connection sharing. It worked great. I've never owned an X-Box, so I don't know if it has a standard ethernet plug on the back like the playstation 2 did.
