    You may find a truck in a farmers field ('73 Cab-over, rust bucket, 8 million miles, 10 flat tires, infested with mice/spiders/cob webs) but,road ready? Don't think so. This is a joke anyway, right?

    I think you might just find something for that price. Look online at some auction results, there are deals to be had out there if you take your time.

    commercialtrucktrader will def have trucks for that kind of money and in your state or area too. I found a 2000 sterling sleeper with 600k on her for like 10 grand.

    If you cant justify spending more than $5000 on a truck to go over the road than you CAN'T justify needing a truck at all.
