1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Hey Drivers, I just got fired from Werner for having three moving violations in three years. One of the tickets was driving to closely. CHP says that i needed to be three truck links behind the truck in from of me and i was only two. Im having a hard time finding a companys that will talk to me about employment. Anybody nows anybody that will hire a driver like me. thanks for your feed back.

[IMG]Hey guy...if you have a car or van here is some suggestions for you...

    1. If you own a van or can get on or a pick up truck...become a courier...courier drivers can earn anywhere from 500- 800 a week hauling small packages around...and you work as an independent driver...and your home every night...

    2. if you have a car...get on the net and order a meter and convert your car to a taxi...you can earn 300-800 a week as a independant taxi cab driver...

There are always other options for making money...don't feel that you are beholdened to the large trucking companies....or you can get a van and run expidited freight for like Panther ect ect...

Companies are really funny about hiring now days...and with all the lay offs...and new students flooding into the industry...their in no rush to hire experienced drivers like yourself...

    Think outside the box....
    Best of luck...ok...
