1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

My truck is a 65 mph bullet and I pass Stevens guys all the time down the 90 in NY. I think the 70 mph thing will be "just changed to 62" for every guy that bites.

The only thing that I did (it's a 2008 btw) was take off the factory exhaust (which shaved off almost 60 pounds!) and installed the HotBodies shorty pipes. Cheap ($250) and now she sounds like a loud Ferrari! I was going to stretch it out but I like the twisties too much to do it.

To be honest, stretched bikes are great to look at maybe at a show but when it comes to getting out and actually riding you can't get the performance and ride quality out of a busa after it's been altered like that. To me it's just eye candy. That bike was meant to originally go in a straight line but if you've ever had the pleasure of riding an 07 or newer model you would be very suprised as to how well they respond to cornering. I absolutely love mine.
I'll put up a picture of it when I get back to my laptop. I'm at my girlfriends house using hers and I only have a pic of it on my phone as of right now. It's the orange model. I'm sure most of you have seen that model cruising down the big road.

I have ridden them. I have a bit of an illness with bikes. I ride everything I see. People seem to trust the guy in leathers with his knee pucks ground half off. :D

If I roll up on you wearing that I'm fairly sure that you would get a courtesy ride on my Busa. Ground down knee pucks say something about a man....ya know?

To answer the OP question (I hate it when some one high jacks a thread to talk about some BS) Many companies may be hiring but they either don't have trucks or loads. Alway talk with there drivers who are on the road to get the real story.
