Sure, everyone will be quick to jump on CT as a garbage company to work for, and I wouldn't disagree... I mean, who doesn't offer direct deposit in this day and age?
But, I will say, the guys I see on FB groups that work for Central all say the same thing: Work is pretty consistent, checks don't bounce, and even though they are running out their 14 every day, they are making decent money and providing for their families. -
Now would not be the time to jump anywhere.

Yeah I wouldn’t necessarily rule out Central if they have an opening. There will be slim pickings for at least the next few months, so take what you can get.
Their trucks are relatively new, the pay is decent and some of the sign-on bonuses are absurd. Still seeing a lot of junk trailers on the road though, and their reputation means you will get treated like a Swift driver by other truck drivers. And be prepared to work 14 hours every day, running out your clock on the dock if necessary.USMC 3531 Thanks this. -
I’ve been seeing some rebranded Celadon trailers running up and down I-35. They looked pretty nice with matching doors and both mud flaps on.
Texas_hwy_287 and Cardfan89 Thank this. -
